And We had already taken a promise from Adam before(20:115) |
وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَا إِلَىٰ آدَمَ مِن قَبْلُ |

وَيُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ كَمَا أَتَمَّهَا عَلَىٰ أَبَوَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ |

and sent down upon them manna and quails, ’ (7:160) |
وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَىٰ |
The birds of the heavens, the bird of paradise, |
السَلْوَى |
And Solomon inherited David. (27:16) |
وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ |
Sulaiman ibn Dawood Alaihis Salam |

"And what is your case, O Samiri?" (20:95) |
فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَا سَامِرِيُّ |

never leave Wadd or Suwa' (71:22) |
لَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا |

And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai (23:20) |
وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيْنَاءَ |
Sinai Valley of the Tur mountain located in Syria |
سَيْنَاءُ |
And [by] Mount Sinai (95:2) |
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ |
Sinai Valley of the Tur mountain located in Syria |
سِينِينُ |
And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. (7:85) |
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا |
Shuayb Alaihis Salam |
شُعَيبٌ |
Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans (5:69) |
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ |
Sabehi community |
صَابِئٌ ج صَابِئُونَ |
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. (2:158) |
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّـهِ |
Safa: The famous mountain of Mecca |
الصَفَا |
"Indeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king." (2:247) |
بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكًا |
Tulut: The name of the king |
طَالُوتُ |
Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (20:12) |
إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى |
Tuya: Valley name |
طُوًى |
and on [its] elevations are men who recognize all by their mark. (7:46) |
وَعَلَى الْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّا بِسِيمَاهُمْ |
A'raf: In the middle of the heaven and hell |
الأَعْرَافُ |
But when you depart from 'Arafat, (2:198) |
فَإِذَا أَفَضْتُم مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ |
Arafa Maidan, the venue |
عَرَفَاتٌ |
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; (9:30) |
وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللَّـهِ |
Uzair Alaihis Salam |
عُزَيْرٌ |
So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza? (53:19) |
أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّىٰ |
The power of the idolaters |
العُزَّى |
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. (83:18) |
إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ |
The highest place, the highest level, the top of it |
عِلِّيُّونَ |
[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, (3:35) |
إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ |
Imran: The father of Musa Alaihis Salam, Jesus, the inhabitants of Salam, residents, settlers, settlers, settlements |
عِمْرَانُ |
He made you successors after the 'Aad (7:74) |
جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ |
The people of Hud Alaise Salam |
عَادٌ |
The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah (4:171) |
إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّـهِ |
Jesus peace be upon him |
عِيسَى |
And Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician." (10:79) |
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُونِي بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ |
Firawn: The title of the Egyptian King, the Pharaoh |
فِرْعَوْنُ |
Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, (28:76) |
إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ |
Qarun |
قَارُونُ |
And this Qur'an was revealed to me (6:19) |
وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ |
Read, read, repeatedly read books, inevitable |
القُرْآنُ |
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh (106:1) |
لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ |
Quraish: Prophet Muhammad The lineage of |
قُرَيْشٌ |
And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. (18:83) |
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ |
Dhul-Qarnayn. |
ذُو القَرْنَيْنِ |
Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, (5:97) |
جَعَلَ اللَّـهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ |
Ka'bah house of Allah The world's first prosperous home |
الكَعْبَةُ |
when Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him (31:13) |
قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ |
Luqman haqeem peace be upon him |
لُقْمَانُ |
So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza? (53:19) |
أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّىٰ |

And when the messengers came to the family of Lot, (15:61) |
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ |
Lot, peace be upon him |
لُوْطٌ |
and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. (2:102) |
وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ |
Marut angel of babylon |
مَارُوتُ |
indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land (18:94) |
نَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ |

مَأْجُوجُ |
Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians and the Magians (22:17) |
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئِينَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ وَالْمَجُوسَ |

And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb. (7:85) |
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا |
Madyan the city of Shu'ayb. peace be upon him |
مَدْيَنُ |
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. (2:158) |
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّـهِ |
Marwah nearest mountain of kabah |
الْمَرْوَةُ |
And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, (19:16) |
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ |
Mary, peace be upon him |
مَرْيَمُ |
"O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers (43:51) |
أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَـٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ |
Egypt egypt contry,city village , Cluster, Locality |
مِصْرُ |
who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah (48:24) |
كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ |
[the area of] Makkah |
مَكَّةُ |
And Manat, the third - the other one? (5319) |
وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الْأُخْرَىٰ |
Manat statue made by stone |
مَنَاةُ |
"Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?" (28:48) |
لَوْلَا أُوتِيَ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ |
Moses peace be upon him |
مُوسَى |
Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael 2:98) |
مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّلَّـهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَجِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَالَ |
Angel Michael peace be upon him |
مِيكَالُ |
'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. (71:23) |
وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا |
Nasr false deity |
نَسْرٌ |
Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians (5:69) |
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ |
Christians , |
نَصْرَانِيٌّ ج نَصَارَى |
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], (71:1) |
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ |
Noah peace be upon him |
نُوحٌ |
and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut (2:102) |
وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ |
Harut name of angel |
هَارُوتُ |
And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], (20:90) |
قَالَ لَهُمْ هَارُونُ مِن قَبْلُ |
Aaron peace be upon him he is elder brother of moses |
هَارُونُ |
"O Haman, construct for me a tower (40:36) |
يَا هَامَانُ ابْنِ لِي صَرْحًا |
Haman minister of Pharaoh |
هَامَانُ |
"Why do I not see the hoopoe (27:20) |
مَا لِيَ لَا أَرَى الْهُدْهُدَ |
hoopoe special bird |
هُدْهُدُ |
And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. (7:65) |
وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا |
Hud peace be upon him is a noble prophet of yamen sent to the people of Aad |
هُوْدٌ |
And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.(71:23) |
وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا |

وَدٌّ |
indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. (18:94) |
نَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ |
The people of Gog |
يَأْجُوجُ |
"O people of Yathrib, there is no stability for you [here], (33:13) |
يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ |
The name of madina |
يَثْرِبُ |
We gave him Isaac and Jacob. (19:49) |
وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ |
Jacob son of Isaac son of Abraham peace be upon him |
يَعْقُوبُ |
And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.(71:23) |
وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا |
and Yauq , the name of statue |
يَعُوقُ |
And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.(71:23) |
وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا |
Yaguth , the name of statue |
يَغُوثُ |
Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - (5:69) |
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ |
Jews |
يَهُودِيٌّ ج يَهُود، هُودٌ |
Certainly were there in Joseph and his brothers signs for those who ask, (12:7) |
لَّقَدْ كَانَ فِي يُوسُفَ وَإِخْوَتِهِ آيَاتٌ لِّلسَّائِلِينَ |
Joseph peace be upon him |
يُوسُفُ |
And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. (37:139) |
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
Jonah ‘peace be upon him
