Then I will drive him to the chastisement of the fire (2:126)

ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ النَّارِ

compel

اضْطَرَّ-يَضْطِرُّ

Will you then force men? (10:99)

أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ

compel, oblige

أَكْرَهَ-يُكْرِهُ

Shall we compel you to accept it when you have a strong hatred for it? (11:28)

أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمْ لَهَا كَارِهُونَ

constrain, force

أَلْزَمَ-يُلْزِمُ

Is not He Who responds to the distresses one,when he calls Him (27:62)

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ

distress, calamity

مُضْطَرٌ

And to Allah is the return (24:42)

وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ

destination, return

مَصِيرٌ

And to Him will be my return with repentance (13:30)

وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ

return, repentance

مَتَابٌ

Verily,His promise must come to pass (19:61)

إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا

destination, list

مَأْتِيٌّ

And when Ibrahim and Ismail raised the foundations of the House (2:127)

وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ

foundation

قَاعِدَةٌ (ج) قَوَاعِدُ

And show us our ways of devotion and turn to us (2:128)

وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا

ways of devotion

مَنْسَكٌ (ج) مَنَاسِكُ

To every nation We appointed acts of devotion which they observe (22:67)

لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوهُ

observer

نَاسِكٌ

And We gave him wisdom and a clear judgment (38:20)

وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ

wisdom, sunnah

حِكْمَةٌ

And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents (46:15)

وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا

advise

وَصَّى-يُوَصِّي (تَوْصِيةٌ)

This is an ordinance from Allah (4:12)

وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللَّهِ

advise, counsel, enjoin

وَصِيَّةٌ

But he who fears an inclination to a wrong course or an act of disobedience on the part of the testator (2:182)

فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا

adviser, instructor

مُوصٍ

When death approaches one of you (2:180)

إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ

come, arrive

حَضَرَ-يَحْضُرُ

Verily,your Ilah is indeed One (37:4)

إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ

sustainer, creator

إلَاهٌ (ج) آلِهَةٌ

Whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hild on the firmest handle which shall not break off (2:256)

فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ

fake venerable

طَاغُوتٌ

Therefore follow the religion of Ibrahim,the upright one (3:95)

فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا

devoted,intent

حَنِيفُ (ج) حُنَفَاءُ

Nay those who desbelieve are in false pride and opposition (38:2)

بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ

discord

شِقَاقٌ

man is the most of all given to contention (18:54)

وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَيْءٍ جَدَلًا

hassle, dispute

جَدَلٌ

Yet he is the most violent of adversaries (2:204)

وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ

act up, quarrel,

خِصَامٌ

That most surely is the truth:the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire (38:64)

إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ

hassling, altercate

تَخَاصُمٌ

And Allah hears the argument between you both (58:1)

وَاللَّهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَا

argument

تَحَاوُرٌ

And All-sufficient is Allah as a Witness (48:28)

وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

sufficient

كَفَى-يَكْفِي

O Prophet(Muhammad SAW),Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you (8:64)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

sufficient, enough

حَسْبٌ

Is not Allah sufficient for His slave (39:36)

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ

sufficient, too much

كَافٍ

Say:Allah I serve,being sincere to Him in my obedience (39:14)

قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ دِينِي

sincere

مُخُلِصٌ (ج) مُخْلِصُونَ

Except Thy servants from among the purified ones (৩৮:৮৩)

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

chosen, designated

مُخْلَصٌ (ج) مُخْلَصُونَ

The evidence of one of these four times,bearing Allah to witness that he is most surely of the truthful ones (24:6)

فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

witness

شَهَادَةٌ (ج) شَهَادَاتٌ (شَهَدَ-يَشْهَدُ)

Made them bear witness against their own souls:Am I not your Lord?They said:Yes,we bear witness (7:172)

وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ شَهِدْنَا

make witness

أَشْهَدَ-يُشْهِدُ

Call in to witness from among your men two witnesses (2:282)

وَاسْتَشْهِدُوا شَهِيدَيْنِ مِن رِّجَالِكُمْ

make witness 

اسْتَشْهَدَ-يَسْتَشْهِدُ

And a witness from among Children of Israel testifies that this Quran is from Allah,so he believed while you are too proud (46:10)

وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَىٰ مِثْلِهِ فَآمَنَ وَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ

witness,testimony

شَاهِدٌ (ج) شُهُودٌ، أَشْهَادٌ

We shall surely turn you to a qiblah which you shall like (2:144)

فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا

qiblah, the direction for performing salat

قِبْلَةٌ

And thus We have made you a medium nation (2:143)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا

moderate

وَسَطٌ

If then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon his heels? (3:144)

أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ

heel, result

عَقِبٌ (ج) أَعْقَابٌ

Wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles (5:6)

وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ

feet to the ankles,

كَعْبٌ

They neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires (19:59)

أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ

destroy

أَضَاعَ-يُضِيعُ

Allah has made their doing naught (33:19)

فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ

destroy,ruin

أَحْبَطَ-يُحْبِطُ

O you who believe!do not make your charity worthless by reproach and injury (2:264)

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُم بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَىٰ

undoes, set aside, abolish

أَبْطَلَ-يُبْطِلُ

And He will not bring your deeds to naught (47:35)

وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ

minifies, lessen

وَتَرَ-يَتِرُ

On the day when the hour shall come to pass,on that day shall they perish who say false things (45:27)

وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ

perish, destroy

مُبْطِلٌ (ج) مُبْطِلُونَ

Indeed We see the turning of your face to heaven  (2:144)

قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ

turn, move

تَقَلُّبٌ (تَقَلَّبَ-يَتَقَلَّبُ)

And Allah knows well your moving about,and your place of rest (47:19)

وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوَاكُمْ

moving

مُتَقَلَّبٌ

So turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque (2:150)

فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ

toward

شَطْرَ

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West (2:177)

لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ

toward

قِبَلَ

So turn your face towards the sacred Mosque (2:150)

فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ

The Sacred Mosque

الْمَسْجِدُ الحَرَامُ

Everyone has a direction to which he should turn (2:148)

وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا

direction

وِجْهَةٌ

Everyone has a direction to which he should turn (2:148)

وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا

returnee

مُوَلٍّ

from which you turn away (38:68)

أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ

adverse, unwilling

مُعْرِضٌ (ج) مُعْرِضُونَ

Therefore hasten to do good works (2:148)

فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ

hasten

اِسْتَبَقَ-يَسْتَبِقُ

Race one with another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord and towards Paradise (57:21)

سَابِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ

hasten, gallop

سَابَقَ-يُسَابِقُ

Hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah (83:26)

وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ

hasten, compete

تَنَافَسَ-يَتَنَافَسُ

Hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah (83:26)

وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ

earnestly obedience

مُتَنَافِسٌ (ج) مُتَنَافِسُونَ

Nor avail against hunger (88:7)

وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ

hunger

جُوْعٌ (جَاعَ-يَجُوعُ)

Or giving food in aday of hunger (90:14)

أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍ

hunger, appetite

مَسْغَبَةٌ

There is no hunger in Allah’s way  (9:120)

وَلَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

yearn, thirst

مَخْمَصَةٌ

With droughts and diminution of fruits that they may be mindful (7:130)

وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

wearandtear

نَقْصٌ

So he have no fear,either of a decreasw in the reward of his good deeds (72:13)

فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا

loss

بَخْسٌ

He shall have no fear of injustice nor of the withholding of his due (20:112)

فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْمًا وَلَا هَضْمًا

assimilate

هَضْمٌ

Verily man is in loss (103:2)

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

loss,destroy

خُسْرٌ، خَسَارٌ، خُسْرَانٌ، تَخْسِيرٌ

And most surely We will pay them back in full their portion undiminished (11:109)

وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍ

remissive

مَنْقُوصٌ

Postponing of the sacred month is only an addition in unbelief (9:37)

إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ

addition

زِيَادَةٌ

The day on which property will not avail nor sons (26:88)

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ

property

مَالٌ (ج) أَمْوَالٌ

And there was beneath it a treasure belonging to them (18:82)

وَكَانَ تَحْتَهُ كَنزٌ لَّهُمَا

treasure, property,

كَنْزٌ (ج) كُنُوزٌ

And goodly things wherein they rejoiced (44:27)

وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ

goodly things

نَعْمَةٌ

And whoever of you have not the means wherewith to wed free,believing women (4:25)

وَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنكُمْ طَوْلًا أَن يَنكِحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ

property, wealth

طَوْلٌ

Whatever of good reaches you,is from Allah (4:79)

مَّا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ

reach

أَصَابَ-يُصِيبُ

For surely whatsover befalls them shall befall her (11:81)

إِنَّهُ مُصِيبُهَا مَا أَصَابَهُمْ

danger

مُصِيبٌ

And whatever of misfortune befalls you,it is because of what your hands have earned (42:30)

وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ

danger

مُصِيْبَةٌ

And We delevered him and his followers from the mighty distress (37:76)

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

anxity, hazard

كَرْبٌ

And when affliction touches a man,he calls on us (10:12)

وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا

harm, injure

ضُرٌّ

Then as to Samood,they were destroyed by an excessively severe punishment (69:5)

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ

disobedience

طَاغِيَةٌ
