And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds (2-25) |
وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ |
good deeds |
صَالِحَةٌ ج صَالِحَاتٌ |
Good and bad is not equal 41:34 |
وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ |
good action, beautiful, |
حَسَنَةٌ ج حَسَنَاتٌ |
We revealed to them the doing of good 21:73 |
وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ |
best, sort, selected |
خَيْرَةٌ ج خَيْرَاتٌ |
Show forgiveness,enjoin what is good 7:199 |
خُذِ الْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْعُرْفِ |
good deeds |
عُرُفٌ |
And from among you there should be a party who invite to good and enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong 3:104 |
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ |
good deeds, of good work |
الْمَعْرُوفُ |
And most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble one 2:45 |
وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ |
honesty, welfare, piety |
بِرٌّ (بَرَّ-يَبِرُّ) |
Then he inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it, 91:8 |
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا |
pious, virtuous |
تُقَاةٌ، تَقْوًى |
Yes,whosever earns evil 2:81 |
بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةً |
sin, crime |
سَيِّئَةٌ ج سَيِّئَاتٌ |
Verily Allah forgives all sins 39:53 |
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا |
sin, crime, offense, fault |
ذَنْبٌ ج ذُنُوبٌ |
I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours 5:29 |
إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوءَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ |
thread, vice, unrighteous act, wire |
إِثْمٌ |
Say:if i have fabricated it ,upon me be my crimes 11:35 |
قُلْ إِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُ فَعَلَيَّ إِجْرَامِي |
sin, crime |
اِجْرَامٌ |
Surely the killing of them is a great sin 17:31 |
إِنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْئًا كَبِيرًا |
err, sin |
خِطْأٌ |
Because of their wrongs they were drowened 71:25 |
مِّمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا |
mistake, sinner |
خَطِيئَةٌ ج خَطِيئَاتٌ، خَطَايَا |
There is no sin on them both if they make terms of peace between themselves 4:128 |
فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا |
sin, loss, offense, allegation |
جُنَاحٌ |
Surely , this is a great sin 4:2 |
إِنَّهُ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا |
evil, guilt |
حُوْبٌ |
And from among you there should be a party who invite to good and enjoin what is right 3:104 |
وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ |
error, improper |
الْمُنكَرُ |
And they persisted in the great violation 56:46 |
وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنثِ الْعَظِيمِ |
immorality, crime, disavow |
حِنْثٌ |
And do not eat of that on which Allah’s name has not been mantioned,and that is most surely a transgression 6:121 |
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ |
sin, mischief, misdeed |
فِسْقٌ، فُسُوقٌ (فَسَقَ-يَفْسُقُ) |
Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him 91:8 |
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا |
evil, crime, adultery |
فُجُورٌ (فَجَرَ-يَفْجُرُ) |
This is for him among you who fears falling into evil 4:25 |
ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنكُمْ |
hardship, crime, adultery |
عَنَتٌ |
Shall have gardens in which rivers flow (2-25) |
تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ |
flow, fall |
جَرَى- يَجْرِي |
And the valleys flow according to their measure 13:17 |
فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَّابِيًا |
flow |
سَالَ- يَسِيلُ |
So outnowed from it twelve springs 7:160 |
فَانبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا |
Flow, stream |
اِنْبَجَسَ-يَنْبَجِسُ |
So there ghused from it twelve springs 2:60 |
فَانفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا |
flow |
اِنْفَجَرَ-يَنْفَجِرُ |
There are some rocks from which streams burst forth 2:74 |
وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الْأَنْهَارُ |
flow |
تَفَجَّرَ- يَتَفَجَّرُ |
We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him 34:12 |
وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ |
pour |
أَسَالَ- يُسِيلُ |
Until you cause a fountain to gush forth from the earth for us 17:90 |
حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يَنبُوعًا |
flow away, spring |
فَجَّرَ-يُفَجِّرُ (تَفْجِيرٌ) |
He has made the two seas to flow freely so that they meet together 55:19 |
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ |
flow |
مَرَجَ-يَمْرُجُ |

تَحْتَ |
The other said:i saw myself carrying bread on my head 12:36 |
وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي خُبْزًا |
over, upon, surfaces, |
فَوْقَ |

|
river |
نَهَرٌ ج أَنْهَارٌ |
And the valleys flow according to their measure 13:17 |
فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا |
valley |
أَوْدِيَةٌ |
Your lord has provided a water stream under you 19:24 |
قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا |
fountain |
سَرِيٌّ |
And remove the distress they have,they would persist in their inordinacy,blindly wandering on 23:75 |
وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ |
lake, deep sea, ocean |
لُجَّةٌ |
And they shall have therein purified wives (2-25) |
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا أَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ |
wife |
زَوْجٌ ج أَزْوَاجٌ |
The wives of your sons who from your own loins 4:23 |
وَحَلَائِلُ أَبْنَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلَابِكُمْ |
wife |
حَلِيلَةٌ ج حَلَائِلُ |
And this my husband an extremely old man 11:72 |
وَهَٰذَا بَعْلِي شَيْخًا |
husband |
بَعْلٌ ج بُعُولٌ |
|
|
blessed |
مُطَهَّرَةٌ (مُطَهَّرُونَ) |
And rivers of clarified honey 47:15 |
وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّى |
holy |
مُصَفَّى |
You are in the sacred valley,Tuwa 20:12 |
إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى |
taintless, chaste, genuine, innocent, immaculate |
مُقَدَّسٌ |
So if you die, would they immortal? 21:34 |
أَفَإِن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ |
eternal, immortal |
خَالِدٌ ج خَالِدُونَ |
And We granted not to any human being immortality before you 21:34 |
جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ |
ageless, immortal, vivid |
خُلْدٌ |
This is a Day of eternal life 50:34 |
ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ |
be immortal |
خَلَدَ-يَخْلُدُ (خُلُودٌ) |
Theirs is a constant torment 37:9 |
وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ |
permanent, constant |
وَاصِبٌ |
They will stay therein forever 4:122 |
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا |
always, continuously, |
أَبَدٌ |
Say:tell me,if Allah were to make the day to continue incessantly on you tilll the day of resurrection 28:72 |
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ النَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ |
evermore |
سَرْمَدٌ |
And if they see a sign,they turn away,and say:This is continuous magic 54:2 |
وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ |
continuually, always |
مُسْتَمِرٌّ |
And those who stand firm in their testimonies 70:33 |
وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ |
permanent, stable |
دَائِمٌ ج دَائِمُونَ |
Everything is perishable but Allah 28:88 |
كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ |
uncertain, |
هَالِكٌ ج هَالِكُونَ |
Everyone on it must pass away 55:26 |
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ |
uncertain, |
فَانٍ |
Verily,Allah is not ashemed to set forth a parable even of a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger than it. 2:26 |
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا |
ashamed , keep alive |
اِسْتَحْيَى-يَسْتَحْيِي (اِسْتِحْيَاءٌ) |
Verily,Allah is not ashemed to set forth a parable even of a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger than it. 2:26 |
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا |
hit, give example, proceed, compose |
ضَرَبَ-يَضْرِبُ(ضَرْبٌ) |
|
|
mosquito, flies silly things |
بَعُوْضَةٌ |
Then as for those who believe,they know that it is the truth from their Lord 2:26 |
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ |
true, right, claim, actual |
حَقٌّ |
None shall speak except him whom the Most beneficent Allah allows,and he will speak what is right 78:38 |
لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا |
right, true, correct, real |
صَوَابٌ |
A promise of truth,which they have been promised 46:16 |
وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ |
right |
صِدْقٌ |
Say:The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished 17:81 |
وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ |
false, bogus, damage, repeal, invalid |
بَاطِلٌ |
And for what your tongues describe,do not utter the lie,this is lawful and this is unlawful 16:116 |
هَٰذَا حَلَالٌ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ |
false |
كِذْبٌ، مَكْذُوبٌ |
And verily,they utter an ill word and a lie 58:2 |
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنكَرًا مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ وَزُورًا |
lying, gag |
زُورٌ |
This is an ancient lie (46: 11) |
هَٰذَا إِفْكٌ قَدِيمٌ |
falsity |
إِفْكٌ |
This is nothing but a forgery 38:7 |
إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ |
falsity, untruth |
اخْتِلَاقٌ |
If he(Muhammad SAW)had forged a false saying concerning Us (ALLah) 69:44 |
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ |
word, story, tale |
أَقْوَالٌ ج أَقَاوِيلُ |
Say:but you also creat ten suras like this (13-11) |
قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ |
fairytale |
مُفْتَرَى ج (مُفْتَرِيَاتٌ) |
Do not lie to the illegitimate child as a child of your husband 60-12 |
وَلَا يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ |
slander, blame, scandal, tremendous |
بُهْتَانٌ |
