These are the limits of Allah, so do not transgress them. (2:229) |
تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَعْتَدُوهَا |

حَدٌّ (ج) حُدُودٌ |
|
|
and he let down his bucket. (12:19) |
فَأَدْلَىٰ دَلْوَهُ |
let down |
أَدْلَى-يُدْلِي |
|
|
send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. (4:35) |
فَابْعَثُوا حَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهِ وَحَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا |
arbitrator |
حَكَمٌ (ج) حُكَّامٌ |
|
|
And He is the best of judges." (7:87) |
وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ |
judge |
حَاكِمٌ (ج) حَاكِمُونَ، حُكَّامٌ |
|
|
and He is the best of deciders." (6:57) |
وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْفَاصِلِينَ |
decider |
فَاصِلٌ (ج) فَاصِلُونَ |
|
|
and You are the best of those who give decision (7:89) |
وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ |
who give decision |
فَاتِحٌ، فَتَّاحٌ (ج) فَاتِحُونَ |
|
|
So decree whatever you are to decree. (20:72) |
فَاقْضِ مَا أَنتَ قَاضٍ |
decree |
قَاضٍ |
|
|
I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me." (27:32) |
مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ |
decide a matter |
قَاطِعَةٌ |
|
|
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. (2:189) |
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ |
moon |
هِلَالٌ (ج) أَهِلَّةٌ |
|
|
And the moon - We have determined for it phases, (36:39) |
وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ |
moon |
قَمَرٌ |
|
|
and made the sun a burning lamp (71:16) |
وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا |
sun |
شَمْسٌ |
|
|
And fight in the cause of Allah (2:244) |
وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ |
fight |
قَاتَلَ-يُقَاتِلُ |
|
|
whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. (9:107) |
حَارَبَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ مِن قَبْلُ |
war |
حَارَبَ-يُحَارِبُ |
|
|
If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought (2:253) |
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُوا |
fight |
اقْتَتَلَ-يَقْتَتِلُ |
|
|
And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (2:192) |
فَإِنِ انتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
cease |
اِنْتَهَى-يَنْتَهِي |
|
|
O sky, withhold [your rain]." (11:44) |
وَيَا سَمَاءُ أَقْلِعِي |
withhold |
أَقْلَعَ-يُقْلِعُ |
|
|
the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, (18:109) |
لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي |
exhaust |
نَفِدَ-يَنْفَدُ |
|
|
And possession that will not deteriorate (20:120) |
وَمُلْكٍ لَّا يَبْلَىٰ |
deteriorate |
بَلِيَ-يَبْلَى |
|
|
To your Lord is its finality. (79:44) |
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَاهَا |
finality |
مٌنْتَهَى |
|
|
Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. (38:54) |
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُ مِن نَّفَادٍ |
depletion |
نَفَادٌ |
|
|
So will you not desist? (5:91) |
فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ |
desist |
مُنْتَهٍ (ج) مُنْتَهُونَ |
|
|
"Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation? (14:44) |
أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوا أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ |
cessation |
زَوَالٌ |
|
|
whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. (22:30) |
وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ |
Sacred |
حُرْمَةٌ (ج) حُرُمَاتٌ |
|
|
[Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, (2:194) |
الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ |
sacred |
حَرَمٌ |
|
|
But if you are prevented, then [offer] what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. (2:196) |
فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ |
With ease |
اِسْتَيْسَرَ-يَسْتَيْسِرُ |
|
|
And do not shave your heads (2:196) |
وَلَا تَحْلِقُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ |
shave |
حَلَقَ-يَحْلِقُ |
|
|
You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, (48:27) |
لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ آمِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لَا تَخَافُونَ |

|
|
And do not shave your heads (2:196) |
وَلَا تَحْلِقُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ |

رَأْسٌ (ج) رُؤُوسٌ |
|
|
until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. (2:196) |
حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ |

|
|
until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. (2:196) |
حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ |

بَلَغَ-يَبْلُغُ |
|
|
But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, (11:70) |
فَلَمَّا رَأَىٰ أَيْدِيَهُمْ لَا تَصِلُ إِلَيْهِ |
reach |
وَصَلَ-يَصِلُ |
|
|
And when he came to the well of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people. (28:23) |
وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً |
come |
وَرَدَ-يَرِدُ |
|
|
but it will not reach it [thus]. (13:14) |
وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهِ |
reach |
بَالِغٌ (بَالِغَةٌ) (ج) بَالِغُونَ |
|
|
And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, (2:249) |
فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ |
go forth |
فَصَلَ-يَفْصِلُ (فَصْلٌ) |
|
|
until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. (2:196) |
حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ |

|
|
And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah; (22:36) |
وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ |

بَدَنَةٌ (ج) بُدْنٌ |
|
|
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, (37:107) |
وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ |
great sacrifice |
ذِبْحٌ |
|
|
or upon the ill any guilt [for remaining behind]. (48:17) |
وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ |
ill |
مَرِيضٌ (ج) مَرْضَى |
|
|
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." (37:89) |
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ |
ill |
سَقِيمٌ |
|
|
until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish (12:85) |
حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْهَالِكِينَ |
Fatally ill |
حَرَضٌ |
|
|
do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury (2:264) |
لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُم بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَىٰ |
injury |
أَذًى |
|
|
other than the disabled (4:95) |
غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ |

ضَرَرٌ |
|
|
Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." (38:41) |
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍ |
hardship |
نُصْبٌ |
|
|
do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury (2:264) |
لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُم بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَىٰ |

صَدَقَةٌ (ج) صَدَقَاتٌ |
|
|
they spend an expenditure, small or large, (9:121) |
يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيرَةً |
expenses, expenditure, |
نَفَقَةٌ (ج) نَفَقَاتٌ |
|
|
a ransom of fasting [three days] or charity or sacrifice. (2:196) |
فَفِدْيَةٌ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ |

نُسُكٌ |
|
|
what they spend as means of nearness to Allah (9:99) |
مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِندَ اللَّهِ |

قُرْبَةٌ (ج) قُرْبَاتٌ |
|
|
he brings us an offering which fire [from heaven] will consume. (3:183) |
يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ |

قُرْبَانٌ |
|
|
Those are ten complete [days]. (2:196) |
تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ |
complete |
كَامِلَةٌ |
|
|
O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] (2:208) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً |
completely |
كَافَّةٌ |
|
|
And ask them about the town that was by the sea (7:163) |
وَاسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ |
who live in town |
حَاضِرٌ (حَاضِرَةٌ) (ج) حَاضِرُونَ |
|
|
And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, (28:45) |
وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيًا فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ |
resident |
ثَاوٍ |
|
|
And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. (71:26) |
وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا |
inhabitant |
دَيَّارٌ |
|
|
In which they will remain for ages [unending]. (78:23) |
لَّابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا |
remaining |
لَابِثٌ (ج) لَابِثُونَ |
|
|
In which they will remain forever (18:3) |
مَّاكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا |
remaining |
مَاكِثٌ (ج) مَاكِثُونَ |
|
|
Those will have a provision determined - (37:41) |
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ |
determined |
مَعْلُومٌ (ج) (مَعْلُومَاتٌ) |
|
|
There is not to be upon the Prophet any discomfort concerning that which Allah has imposed upon him. (33:38) |
مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ |

فَرَضَ-يَفْرِضُ |
|
|
Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah. (2:199) |
ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ |
depart |
أَفَاضَ-يُفِيضُ |
|
|
remember Allah at al- Mash'ar al-Haram. (2:198) |
فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ عِندَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ |
al- Mash'ar |
مَشْعَرٌ |
|
|
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire (66:6) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا |
protect(protector) |
وَقَى-يَقِي (وَاقٍ) |
|
|
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah? (33:17) |
قُلْ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَعْصِمُكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ |
protect |
عَصَمَ-يَعْصِمُ (عَاصِمٌ) |
|
|
Say, "Who can protect you at night or by day from the Most Merciful?" (21:42) |
قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ |
protect |
كَلَأَ-يَكْلَأُ |
|
|
then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little. (33:60) |
ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا |
neighbors |
أَجَارَ-يُجِيرُ |
|
|
protect you from your [enemy in] battle. (21:80) |
لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّن بَأْسِكُمْ |
protect |
أَحْصَنَ-يُحْصِنُ |
|
|
They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from us. (21:43) |
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ |
help, helper |
أَصْحَبَ-يُصْحِبُ |
|
|
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] (15:17) |
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ |
protect |
حَفِظَ-يَحْفَظُ(حِفْظٌ) |
|
|
and they are maintaining their prayers. (6:92) |
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ |
maintain |
حَافَظَ-يُحَافِظُ |
|
|
Of it there is no preventer. (52:8) |
مَّا لَهُ مِن دَافِعٍ |
prevent |
دَافَعَ-يُدَافِعُ |
|
|
And you see many of them hastening into sin. (5:62) |
وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْإِثْمِ |
hastening |
سَرِيعٌ |
||
The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly. (70:43) |
يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا |
rapidly |
سِرَاعٌ |
||
Man was created of haste.(21:37) |
خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ |
haste |
عَجَلٌ |
||
and man is ever hasty. (17:11) |
وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ عَجُولًا |
Hasty |
عَجُولٌ |
||
He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; (7:54) |
يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا |
rapidly |
حَثِيثٌ |
||
And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they will grow up. (4:6) |
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُوا |
quickly |
بِدَارٌ |
||
and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, (3:125) |
وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ |
in rage |
فَوْرٌ |
||
Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. (26:113) |
إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّي لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ |
accout |
حِسَابٌ، حُسْبَانٌ |
||
Allah will bring you to account for it. (2:284) |
يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ |
bring to account |
حَاسَبَ-يُحَاسِبُ |
||
has enumerated all things in number. (72:28) |
وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا |
number |
أَحْصَى-يُحْصِي |
||
Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do." (45:29) |
إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
transcribe |
اسْتَنْسَخَ-يَسْتَنْسِخُ |
||
And sufficient are We as accountant. (21:47) |
وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ |
accountant, sufficient |
حَاسِبٌ، حَسِيبٌ |
||
Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; (2:203) |
فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ |
hasten |
تَعَجَّلَ-يَتَعَجَّلُ |
||
I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased." (20:84) |
وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ |
hasten |
عَجِلَ-يَعْجلُ |
||
If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. (18:58) |
لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوا لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابَ |
hasten |
عَجَّلَ-يُعَجِّلُ |
||
[Allah] said, "And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses?" (20:83)
|
وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ |
hasten |
أَعْجَلَ-يُعْجِلُ |
||
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. (29:53) |
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ |
hasten |
اِسْتَعْجَلَ-يَسْتَعْجِلُ (اسْتِعْجَالٌ) |
||
Is [because] We hasten for them good things? (23:56) |
نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ |
hasten |
سَارَعَ-يُسَارِعُ |
||
To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. (74:37) |
لِمَن شَاءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ |
stay behind |
تَأَخَّرَ-يَتَأَخَّرُ |
||
We hold back from them the punishment for a limited time (11:8) |
أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ |
hold back |
أَخَّرَ-يُأَخِّرُ |
||
So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]. (7:34) |
فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً |
remain behind |
اِسْتَأْخَرَ-يَسْتَأْخِرُ |
||
yet he is the fiercest of opponents. (2:204) |
وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ |
fiercest |
لَدٌّ (ج) لُدٌّ |
||
But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute. (43:58) |
بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ |
prone to dispute |
خَصِمٌ، خَصِيمٌ (ج) خَصِمُونَ |
||
And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, (38:21) |
وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ نَبَأُ الْخَصْمِ |
adversaries |
خَصْمٌ |
||
a slave owned by quarreling partners (39:29) |
رَّجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ |
quarreling |
مُتَشَاكِسٌ (ج) مُتَاشَاكِسُونَ |
||
And how many a generation have We destroyed before them, (19:74) |
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم |
destroy |
أَهْلَكَ-يُهْلِكُ |
||
and each We destroyed with [total] destruction. (25:39) |
وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا |
destroy |
تَبَّرَ-يُتَبِّرُ |
||
[so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands (59:2) |
يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ |
destroy |
أَخْرَبَ-يُخْرِبُ |
||
So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin (91:14) |
فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم |
bring down destruction |
دَمْدَمَ-يُدَمْدِمُ |
||
that We destroyed them and their people, all. (27:51) |
دَمَّرْنَاهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ |
destroy |
دَمَّرَ-يُدَمِّرُ (تَدْمِيرٌ) |
||
He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. (37:56) |
قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ |
To ruine, destroy |
أَرْدَى-يُرْدِي |
||
Or He will exterminate you with a punishment; (20:61) |
فَيُسْحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٍ |
exterminate |
أَسْحَتَ-يُسْحِتُ |
||
And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered (21:11) |
وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ |
shatter |
قَصَمَ-يَقْصِمُ |
||
Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much. (42:34) |
أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ |
destroy |
أَوْبَقَ-يُوبِقُ |
||
Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. (6:70) |
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُوا بِمَا كَسَبُوا |
given to destruction |
أَبْسَلَ-يُبْسِلُ |
||
And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques (22:40) |
وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ |

هَدَّمَ-يُهَدِّمُ |
||
and wretched is the resting place. (38:56) |
فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ |
resting place |
مِهَادٌ |
||
and the Fire will be a residence for them. (47:12) |
وَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ |
residence |
مَثْوَى |
||
for them will be the Gardens of Refuge (32:19) |
فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَأْوَىٰ |
refuge |
مَأْوَى |
||
And We had certainty settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement (10:93) |
وَلَقَدْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍ |
Residence, settlement |
مُبَوَّأٌ |
||
those who spend their wealth seeking means to the approval of Allah (2:265) |
يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ |

مَرْضَاتٌ |
||
but approval from Allah is greater. (9:72) |
وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ |
approval |
رِضْوَانٌ |
||
O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] (2:208) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً |

سِلْمٌ |
||
have approved for you Islam as religion. (5:3) |
وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا |

إسْلَامٌ |
||
But Satan caused them to slip out of it. (2:36) |
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا |

زَلَّ-يَزِلُّ |
||
And [mention] when We raised the mountain above them as if it was a dark cloud (7:171) |
وَإِذْ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُ ظُلَّةٌ |
dark cloud |
ظُلَّةٌ (ج) ظُلَلٌ |
||
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars. (37:6) |
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ |

زَيَّنَ-يُزَيِّنُ |
||
when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified (10:24) |
إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ |
Adornment |
ازَّيَنَ-يَزَّيَّنُ |
||
Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing. (22:1) |
إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ |
Convulsion |
زَلْزَلَ-يُزَلْزِلُ (زِلْزَالٌ، زَلْزَلَهٌ) |
||
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? (67:16) |
أَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ |

مَارَ-يَمُورُ (مَوْرٌ) |
||
The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, (8:2) |
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ |

وَجِلَ-يَوْجَلُ (وَجِلَةٌ ج وَجِلُونَ) |
||
On the Day the earth and the mountains will convulse and the mountains will become a heap of sand pouring down. (73:14) |
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ الْجِبَالُ كَثِيبًا مَّهِيلًا |

رَجَفَ-يَرْجُفُ (رَجْفَةٌ) |
||
When the earth is shaken with convulsion (56:4) |
إِذَا رُجَّتِ الْأَرْضُ رَجًّا |
shake |
رَجَّ-يَرجُّ (رَجٌّ) |
||
The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; (39:23) |
تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ |

اقْشَعَرَّ-يَقْشَعِرُّ |
||
When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest, (110:1) |
إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ |

نَصْرٌ |
||
even if We brought the like of it as a supplement." (18:109) |
وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا |
suppliment |
مَدَدٌ |
||
Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. (2:216) |
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ |
hateful |
كُرْهٌ |
||
All that - its evil is ever, in the sight of your Lord, detested. (17:38) |
كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ كَانَ سَيِّئُهُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ مَكْرُوهًا |
detest |
مَكْرُوهٌ |
||
Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do. (61:3) |
كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
hatred |
مَقْتٌ |
||
was to his Lord pleasing. (19:55) |
وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا |
pleasing |
مَرْضِيٌ، مَرْضِيَّةٌ |
||
and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. (2:216) |
وَعَسَىٰ أَن تُحِبُّوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ |
perhaps |
عَسَى |
||
And they were unable to arise, (51:45) |
فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِن قِيَامٍ |
able |
اِسْتَطَاعَ-يَسْتَطِيعُ |
||
He said, "O woe to me! Have I failed to be like this crow (5:31) |
قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ |
fail |
عَجَزَ-يَعْجِزُ |
||
Did We fail in the first creation? (50:15) |
أَفَعَيِينَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ |
fail |
عَيِيَ-يَعْيَى |
||
And We are not to be outdone (56:60) |
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ |
outdone |
مَسْبُوقٌ (ج) مَسْبُوقُونَ |
||
They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless. (3:22) |
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ |
become worthless |
حَبِطَ-يَحْبَطُ |
||
and abolished was what they were doing. (7:118) |
وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |
abolish |
بَطَلَ-يَبْطُلُ |
||
And those who emigrated for the cause of Allah. (22:58) |
وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ |
emigrate |
هَاجَرَ-يُهَاجِرُ |
||
[Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. (29:26) |
وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي |
immigrant |
مُهَاجِرٌ (ج) مُهَاجِرُونَ (مُهَاجِرَاتٌ) |
||
They ask you about wine (2:219) |
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ |
wine |
خَمْرٌ |
||
They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed. (83:25) |
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ |
[pure] wine |
رَحِيقٌ |
||
grapevines you take intoxicant (16:67) |
تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا |
intoxicant |
سَكَرٌ |
||
They ask you about wine and gambling. (2:219) |
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ |
gambling |
مَيْسَرٌ |
||
Say, "In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. (2:219) |
قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ |
benefit |
مَنْفَعَةٌ (ج) مَنَافِعُ |
||
and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit?(20:89) |
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا |
benefit |
نَفْعٌ |
||
and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit? (20:89) |
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا |
harm |
ضَرٌّ |
||
They said, "No harm. (26:50) |
قَالُوا لَا ضَيْرَ |
harm |
ضَيْرٌ |
||
as long as there is no detriment [caused]. (4:12) |
غَيْرَ مُضَارٍّ |
detriment [caused] |
مُضَارٌّ |
||
Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving. (4:99) |
وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا |
pardoning |
عَفْوٌ |
||
and that they might give thought. (16:44) |
وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ |
think |
تَفَكَّرَ-يَتَفَكَّرُ |
||
Indeed, he thought and deliberated. (74:18) |
إِنَّهُ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ |
think |
فَكَّرَ-يُفَكِّرُ |
||
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? (47:24) |
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ |
reflect upon |
تَدَبَّرَ-يَتَدَبَّرُ |
||
Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an? (23:68) |
أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ |
reflect over |
اِدَّبَرَ-يَدَّبَّرُ |
||
Aaron, my brother. (20:30) |
هَارُونَ أَخِي |
brother |
أَخٌ (ج) إخْوَانٌ، إخْوَةٌ |
||
Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, (4:23) |
حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَّهَاتُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ |

أُخْتٌ (ج) أَخَوَاتٌ |
||
And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, (4:22) |
وَلَا تَنكِحُوا مَا نَكَحَ آبَاؤُكُم |
marry |
نَكَحَ-يَنْكِحُ |
||
if the Prophet wishes to marry her, (33:50) |
إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَهَا |
wish to marry |
اِسْتَنْكَحَ-يَسْتَنْكِحُ |
||
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you. (28:27) |
قَالَ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ |
wed |
أَنْكَحَ-يُنْكِحُ |
||
We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort. (33:37) |
زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ |
marry |
زَوَّجَ-يُزَوِّجُ |
||
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward. (2:230) |
فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ |
divorce |
طَلَّقَ-يُطلِّقُ |
||
And they ask you about menstruation. (2:222) |
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ |
menstruation |
مَحِيضٌ |
||
Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods. (2:228) |
وَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ |
period |
قُرْءٌ (ج) قُرُوءٌ |
||
and [also for] those who have not menstruated (65:4) |
وَاللَّائِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ |
menstruate |
حَاضَتْ-تَحِيضُ |
||
so keep away from wives during menstruation. (2:222) |
فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ |
keep away |
اِعْتَزَلَ-يَعْتَزِلُ |
||
They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, (32:16) |
تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا |

تَجَافَى-يَتَجَافَى |
||
[Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals. (36:59) |
وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ |
stand apart |
اِمْتَازَ-يَمْتَيزُ |
||
If they had been apart [from them], We would have punished those who disbelieved among them with painful punishment (48:25) |
لَوْ تَزَيَّلُوا لَعَذَّبْنَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا |

تَزَيَّلَ-يَتَزَيَّلُ |
||
But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each [of them] from His abundance. (4:130) |
وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ اللَّهُ كُلًّا مِّن سَعَتِهِ |
get separate |
تَفَرَّقَ-يَتَفَرَّقُ |
||
and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. (26:63) |
فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ |
get parted |
انْفَلَقَ-يَنْفَلِقُ |
||
Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. (22:73) |
لَن يَخْلُقُوا ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا لَهُ |
gather together |
اجْتَمَعَ-يَجْتَمِعُ |
||
And do not approach them until they are pure. (2:222) |
وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطْهُرْنَ |
purify |
طَهرَ-يَطْهرُ |
||
And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. (5:6) |
وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوا |
purify |
تَطَهَّرَ-يَتَطَهَّرُ |
||
Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." (2:222) |
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ |

مُتَطَهِّرٌ (ج) مُتَطَهِّرُونَ |
||
and Allah loves those who purify themselves. (9:108) |
وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَ |
one who is purified |
مُطَّهِّرٌ (ج) مُطَّهِّرُونَ |
||
But man desires to continue in sin. (75:5) |
بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ |
sin |
رُجْزٌ |
||
And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuse. (2:224) |
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا اللَّهَ عُرْضَةً |
excuse |
عُرْضَهٌ |
||
You have obtained from me an excuse. (18:76) |
قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِن لَّدُنِّي عُذْرًا |
excuse |
عُذْرٌ، مَعْذِرَةٌ |
||
Even if he presents his excuses. (75:15) |
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُ |
excuse |
مِعْذَارٌ (ج) مَعَاذِيرُ |
||
And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuse. (2:224) |
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا اللَّهَ عُرْضَةً لِّأَيْمَانِكُمْ |
oath |
يَمِينٌ (ج) أَيْمَانٌ |
||
And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. (56:76) |
وَإِنَّهُ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ |
oath |
قَسَمٌ |
||
Whatever you make of vows - indeed, Allah knows of it. (2:270) |
نَذَرْتُم مِّن نَّذْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُهُ |
vow |
نَذْرٌ (ج) نُذُورٌ |
||
And they who turn away from ill speech. (23:3) |
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ |
ill speech |
لَغْوٌ |
||
Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. (88:11) |
لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً |
unsuitable speech |
لَاغِيَةٌ |
||
And it is not amusement. (86:14) |
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ |
amusement |
هَزْلٌ |
||
Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves. (6:91) |
ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ |
engage in discourse |
خَوْضٌ |
||
For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, (2:226) |
لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِن نِّسَائِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ |
swear not to have sexual relations |
آلَى-يُوْلِي |
||
And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid]. (24:22) |
وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُولُو الْفَضْلِ مِنكُمْ |
swear |
اِئْتَلَى-يَأْتَلِي |
||
And they swear by Allah that they are from among you (9:56) |
وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ |
swear |
حَلَفَ-يَحْلِفُ |
||
And let them swear by Allah, "Our testimony is truer than their testimony, (5:107) |
فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَادَتِهِمَا |
swear |
أَقْسَمَ-يُقْسِمُ |
||
And he swore [by Allah] to them, "Indeed, I am to you from among the sincere advisors." (7:21) |
وَقَاسَمَهُمَا إِنِّي لَكُمَا لَمِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ |
swear |
قَاسَمَ-يُقَاسِمُ |
||
They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allah. (27:49) |
قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ |
mutual oath |
تَقَاسَمَ-يَتَقَاسَمُ |
||
'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, (19:26) |
إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًا |
vow |
نَذَرَ-يَنْذِرُ |
||
And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer . (68:10) |
وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ |
habitual swearer |
حَلَّافٌ |
||
For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, (2:226) |
لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِن نِّسَائِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ |
waiting time |
تَرَبُّصٌ |
||
And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. (2:280) |
وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَيْسَرَةٍ |
postponement |
نَظْرَةٌ |
||
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. (86:17) |
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا |
allow time |
رُوَيْدٌ |
||
And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay. (38:15) |
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ |
no delay |
فَوَاقٌ |
||
And if they decide on divorce - then indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (2:227) |
وَإِنْ عَزَمُوا الطَّلَاقَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ |
decide |
عَزَمَ-يَعْزِمُ (عَزْمٌ) |
||
Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan]. (43:79) |
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ |
devise (plan) |
أَبْرَمَ-يُبْرِمُ |
||
And they went early in determination, [assuming themselves] able. (68:25) |
وَغَدَوْا عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ |
determination |
حَرْدٌ |
||
Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan]. (43:79) |
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ |
One who devises, devising [a plan]. |
مُبْرِمٌ (ج) مُبْرِمُونَ |
||
And if they decide on divorce - then indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (2:227) |
وَإِنْ عَزَمُوا الطَّلَاقَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ |

طَلَاقٌ |
||
And for divorced women is a provision. (2:241) |
وَلِلْمُطَلَّقَاتِ مَتَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ |
divorced women |
مُطَلَّقَةٌ (ج) مُطَلَّقَاتٌ |
||
And women of post-menstrual age who have no desire for marriage. (24:60) |
لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا |
marriage |
نِكَاحٌ |
||
Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, (2:228) |
وَالْمُطَلَّقَاتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ |
await |
تَرَبَّصَ-يَتَرَبَّصُ |
||
So do they wait? (10:102) |
فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ |
await |
اِنْتَظَرَ-يَنْتَظِرُ |
||
you did not observe [or await] my word. (20:94) |
وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِي |
await |
رَقَبَ-يَرْقُبُ |
||
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke. (44:10) |
فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ |
watch |
اِرْتَقَبَ-يَرْتَقِبُ |
||
Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." (52:31) |
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ |
waiter |
مُتَرَبِّصٌ (ج) مُتَرَبِّصُونَ |
||
And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah - whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. (9:106) |
وَآخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ |

مُرْجَى (ج) مُرْجَوْنَ |
||
So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. (44:59) |
فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ |
watching |
مُرْتَقِبٌ (ج) مُرْتَقِبُونَ |
||
so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." (10:20) |
فَانتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ |
one who wait |
مُنْتَظِرٌ (ج) مُنْتَظِرُونَ |
||
[Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved. (15:37) |
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ |
reprieved |
مُنْظَرٌ (ج) مُنْظَرُونَ |
||
and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs (2:228) |
وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ |

حَلَّ-يَحِّلُ |
||
and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs (2:228) |
وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ فِي أَرْحَامِهِنَّ |

But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. (2:228) |
وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ |

[That] you will surely experience state after state. (84:19) |
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ |

Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. (2:229) |
فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ |

فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ |

and give them a gracious release. (33:49) |
وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا |

فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ |

and there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. (4:24) |
وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا تَرَاضَيْتُم بِهِ مِن بَعْدِ الْفَرِيضَةِ |

And if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. (2:233) |
فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ |

فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا |

وَأُمَّهَاتُكُمُ اللَّاتِي أَرْضَعْنَكُمْ |

وَأَخَوَاتُكُم مِّنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ |

And if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, (2:233) |
وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ |

اِسْتَرْضَعَ-يَسْتَرْضِعُ |
||
And We had prevented from him [all] wet nurses before, (28:12)

وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ |

||
