We divided the sea for you (2:50)
|
وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ
|

فَرَقَ-يَفْرِقُ (فَرْقٌ)
|
part with them on equitable terms (65:2)

أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ

who divide their religion and break up into sects (6:159)

The coming of Our wrath by night while they were asleep (7:97)

أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ

They came to their father in the early part of the night, weeping. (12:16)

And glorify Him morning and evening. (33:42)

He told them by signs to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening. (19:11)

فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا

celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again, and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning (3:41)

And say, 'Relieve us of our burdens. (2:58)

Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness. (18:86)

And if you punish , (16:126)

And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion(2:53)

And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves. (2:54)

وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمُ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ أَسْبَاطًا أُمَمًا

And his nearest kindred who shelter him (70:13)

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ

And warn, your closest kindred (26:214)

وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ

And We shaded you with clouds

وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ

then he went back to the shade (28:24)
|
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰ إِلَى الظِّلِّ

ظِلٌّ ج ظِلَالٌ
|
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame. (77:31)
|
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ

When they have carried heavy rainclouds (7:57)

Is it you who brought it down from the clouds ? (56:69)

أَأَنتُمْ أَنزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ

And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water (78:14)

وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِمَاءً ثَجَّاجًا

when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys(46:24)
|
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ

Eat from the good things with which We have provided you (2:57)

كُلُوا مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ

|
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, (59:23)

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ

|
That is better for you and purer (2:232)
|
ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ

زَكِيٌّ، زَكِيَّةٌ (زَكَا-يَزْكُو)
|
And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul (35:18)
|
وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِ
|

تَزَكَّى-يَتَزَكَّى
|
until He separates the evil from the good.(3:179)
|
حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ

خَبِيثٌ (خَبِيثَةٌ) ج خَبِيثُونَ (خَبِيثَاتٌ، خَبَائِثُ)
|
and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan (5:90)
|
وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِّنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ
|
evil, Unclean,
impure
|
رِجْسٌ
|
polytheists are unclean (9:28)
|
إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ
|
Unclean
|
نَجَسٌ
|
but that which is bad - nothing emerges except sparsely, (7:58)
|
وَالَّذِي خَبُثَ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِدًا
|
to be bad

خَبُثَ-يَخْبُثُ
|
And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]. (91:10)
|
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا

دَسَّى-يُدَسِّي
|
And [recall] when We said, "Enter this city. (2-58)
|
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُوا هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ
|
Enter

دَخَلَ-يَدْخُلُ
|
until a camel enters into the eye of a needle (7:40)
|
حَتَّىٰ يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ
|
Enter
|
وَلَجَ-يَلِجُ
|
he has not broken through the difficult pass (90:11)
|
فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَ
|

اقْتَحَمَ-يَقْتَحِمُ
|
it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter (66:10)
|
وَقِيلَ ادْخُلَا النَّارَ مَعَ الدَّاخِلِينَ

دَاخِلٌ ج دَاخِلُونَ
|
This is a company bursting in with you. (38:59)
|
هَٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُّقْتَحِمٌ مَّعَكُمْ

|
So he left it, fearful and anticipating (28: 21)
|
فَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا خَائِفًا
|

|
خَرَجَ-يَخْرُجُ (خُرُوجٌ)
|
And is one can be like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? (6:122)
|
كَمَن مَّثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَا
|

Enter this city (2:58)

ادْخُلُوا هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ

|
And you,are free of restriction in this city (90:2)

وَأَنتَ حِلٌّ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ
|

|
بَلَدٌ )ج (بِلاَدٌ
|
I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city
(27:91)
|
أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ
|

|
بَلْدَةٌ
|
there came from the farthest end of the city a man (36:20)
|
وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ
|
City
|
مَدِينَةٌ
|
Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked. (2:61)
|
اهْبِطُوا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ
|
Egypt, country, region
|
مِصْرٌ
|
It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated."(15:44)
|
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
|

بَابٌ (ج) أَبْوَابٌ
|
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. (25:70)
|
مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ
|
Replace ,
|
بَدَّلَ-يُبَدِّلُ (تَبْدِيلٌ)
|
So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy. (18:81)
|
فَأَرَدْنَا أَن يُبْدِلَهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُ زَكَاةً وَأَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا
|
Substitute
|
أَبْدَلَ- يُبْدِلُ
|
Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.
(13:11)
|
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
|
Change
|
غَيَّرَ-يُغَيِّرُ
|
a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it (2:75)
|
ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
|
Distort
|
حَرَّفَ-يُحَرِّفُ
|
Allah alternates the night and the day. (24:44)
|
يُقَلِّبُ اللَّهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ
|
Alternate
|
قَلَّبَ- يُقَلِّبُ
|
they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or transfer [to someone else]." (17:56)
|
فَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا تَحْوِيلًا
|

|
حِوَلٌ، تَحْوِيلٌ
|
swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company. (8:16)
|
مُتَحَرِّفًا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ
|
swerve
|
تَحَرَّفَ-يَتَحَرَّفُ
|
wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes
(47:15)
|
فِيهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِّن مَّاءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّن لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ
|

|
[Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? (2:61)
|
قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ
|
Exchange
|
اِسْتَبْدَلَ-يَسْتَبْدِلُ (اسْتِبْدَالٌ)
|
There is no changer of His words (18:27)
|
لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ
|
Changer
|
مُبَدِّلٌ
|
That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. (8:53)
|
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
|

|
And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone.". (2:60)

وَإِذِ اسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ

اِسْتَسْقَى-يَسْتَسقِي
|
So Moses threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent, manifest. (7:107)
|
فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ

|
a creature of the earth eating his staff (34:14)

Within it is a flowing spring.
(88:12)

فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ

|
And they say, "We will not believe you until you break open for us from the ground a spring. (17:90)
|
وَقَالُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يَنبُوعًا
|
Spring
|
يَنْبُوعٌ (ج) يَنَابِيعُ
|
In both of them are two springs, spouting. (55:66)
|
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
|
Spring
|
نَضَّاخَةٌ
|
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water. (23:৫50)
|
