Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. (87-7) |
إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ |

خَفِيَ- يَخْفَى (خُفْيَةٌ) |
And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight (10-61) |
وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ |

عَزبَ-يَعْزِبُ |
And when they tasted of the tree, their private parts became apparent to them, (7-22) |
فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا |

بَدَا-يَبْدُو |
And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. (6-151) |
وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ |

ظَهَرَ-يَظْهَرُ |
Now the truth has become evident. (12-51) |
الْآنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ |
become evident. |
حَصْحَصَ-يُحَصْحِصُ |
while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. (33-37) |
وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ |
who disclose |
مُبْدٍ |
It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. (3-6) |
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ |

صَوَّرَ-يُصَوِّرُ |
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. (82-8) |
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ |

رَكَّبَ-يُرَكِّبُ |
He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; (59-24) |
هُوَ اللَّهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ |

in it are verses [that are] precise (3-7) |
مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ |

مُحْكَمَةٌ ج مُحْكَمَاتٌ |
Why do they not bring for [worship of] them a clear authority? (18-15) |
لَّوْلَا يَأْتُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِسُلْطَانٍ بَيِّنٍ |

We have certainly sent down distinct verses. (24-46) |
لَّقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا آيَاتٍ مُّبَيِّنَاتٍ |

مُبَيِّنَةٌ ج مُبَيِّنَاتٌ |
And We gave them the explicit Scripture. (37-117) |
وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ |

مُسْتَبِينٌ |
Then let not your plan be obscure to you. (10-71) |
لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً |

غُمَّةٌ |
And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. (3-7) |
وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ |

تَأْوِيلٌ |
And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things. (16-89) |
وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ |

تِبْيَانٌ، بَيَانٌ |
that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (25-33) |
جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا |
explanation |
تَفْسِيرٌ |
Indeed, You are the Bestower. (3-8) |
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ |
bestower |
وَهَّابٌ |
Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. (3-9) |
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ |

جَامِعٌ |
and send among the cities gatherers (7-111) |
وَأَرْسِلْ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ |

حَاشِرٌ ج حَاشِرُونَ |
That is a Day for which the people will be collected, (11-103) |
ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّجْمُوعٌ لَّهُ النَّاسُ |

مَجْمُوعٌ ج مَجْمُعُونَ |
And the birds were assembled, (38-19) |
وَالطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً |
assembled |
مَحْشُورَةٌ |
we were [of] divided ways. (72-11) |
كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا |
divided |
قُدَّةٌ ج قِدَدٌ |
never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. (3-10) |
لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم |
avail |
أَغْنَى- يُغْنِي |
O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, (31-33) |
وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ |
avail |
جَازٍ |
[theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them.... (3-11) |
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ |

دَأْبٌ |
and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration. (35-43) |
وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا |

سُنَّةٌ ج سُنَنٌ |
Each works according to his manner, (17-84) |
كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَىٰ شَاكِلَتِهِ |

شَاكِلَةٌ |
And indeed, you are of a great moral character. (68-4) |
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ |

خُلُقٌ |
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; (55-19) |
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ |
meeting |
اِلْتَقَى-يَلْتَقِي |
But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. (3-13) |
وَاللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ |
support |
أَيَّدَ-يُؤَيِّدُ |
so We strengthened them with a third, (36-14) |
فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ |
strengthen |
عَزَّزَ-يُعَزِّزُ |
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and (27-19) |
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ |
enable me |
أَوْزَعَ-يُوْزِعُ |
and [also] that Allah will weaken the plot of the disbelievers. (8-18) |
اللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ |
who will weaken |
مُوْهِنٌ |
There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. (12-111) |
لَقَدْ كَانَ فِي قَصَصِهِمْ عِبْرَةٌ لِّأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ |

while there has already occurred before them similar punishments [to what they demand. (13-6) |
قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلَاتُ |

مَثُلَاتٌ |
So take warning, O people of vision. (59-2) |
فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ |
take warning |
اِعْتَبَرَ-يَعْتَبِرُ |
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, (3-14) |
زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ |

then He makes them into a mass. (24-43) |
ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ رُكَامًا |

"[It is merely] clouds heaped up. (52-44) |
سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُومٌ |

فِضَّةٌ |

خَيْلٌ |
the poised [standing] racehorses. (38: 31) |
الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ |

صَافِنَةٌ ج صَافِنَاتٌ |
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war (8-60) |
وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ |

the poised [standing] racehorses. (38: 31) |
الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ |

جَوَادٌ ج جِيَادٌ |

but Allah has with Him the best return. (3-14) |
وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ |

Is there any place of escape? (50-36) |
هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ |

Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place. (18-31) |
نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا |

If they could find a refuge (9-57) |
لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَأً |

مَلْجَأٌ |
nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. (72-22) |
وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا |

مُلْتَحَدٌ |
never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, (3-188) |
فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ |

مَفَازَةٌ |
from which they will never find an escape. (18-58) |
لَّن يَجِدُوا مِن دُونِهِ مَوْئِلًا |

مَوْئِلٌ |
No! There is no refuge. (75-11) |
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ |

وَزَرٌ |
"Where is the [place of] escape?" (75-10) |
أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ |
escape |
مَفَرٌّ |
And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance (4-100) |
وَمَن يُهَاجِرْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَجِدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُرَاغَمًا كَثِيرًا وَسَعَةً |
