In the Name of Allah (1-1)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Name

اِسْمٌ (ج) أَسْمَاءٌ

do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames (49-11)

وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ

nicknames

لَقَبٌ (ج)  أَلْقَابٌ

Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter give female names to the angels. (53-27)

لَيُسَمُّونَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الْأُنثَى

give names

سَمَّى-يُسَمِّى (تَسْمِيَةٌ)

and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames(49-11)

وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ

call [offensive] nicknames

تَنَابَزَ-يَتَنَابَزُ

and a specified time [known] to Him

وَأَجَلٌ مُّسمًّى عِندَهُ

specified,

مُسَمًّى

We have not given such a name to anyone before (19-7)

لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا

give names, same name

سَمِيٌّ

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. (1-1)

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Merciful.

رَحْمٰنُ

for You are the most merciful of the merciful (7-151)

وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

most merciful

رَاحِمٌ (ج) رَاحِمُوْنَ

kind towards one another (48-29)

رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ

kind

رَحِيمٌ (ج) رُحَمَاءُ

is most kind and merciful to the faithful. (9-128)

بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

kind

رَؤُوْفٌ

Allah is kind to His servants (42-19)

اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ

kind

لَطِيْفٌ

Indeed, my Lord is merciful and loving." (90-11)

إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ

loving

وَدُودٌ

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, (1-2)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

praise

حَمْدٌ (حَمِدَ-يَحْمَدُ)

We want from you neither compensation, nor gratitude. (76-9)

لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

gratitude

شُكْرٌ (ج) شُكُوْرٌ (شَكَرَ-يَشْكُرُ)

Those who repent, those who worship Allah and praise (Him); (9-112)

التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ

praise

حَامِدٌ (ج) حَامِدُوْنَ

we shall most certainly be among the grateful. (6-63)

لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

grateful

شَاكِرٌ (ج) شَاكِرُوْنَ

Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful. (31-31)

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

grateful

شَكُوْرٌ

but whosoever is ungrateful, surely, Allah is the Rich, the Praised' (31:12)

وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ

Praised

حَمِيْدٌ

perhaps your Lord will raise you to a highly praiseworthy position. (17:79)

أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا

praiseworthy

مَحْمُوْدٌ

Man is ever ungrateful. (17:67)

وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ كَفُورًا

ungrateful

كَفُوْرٌ

mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful. (14-34)

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ

ungrateful

كَفَّارٌ

Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. (100-6)

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ

ungrateful

كَنُوْدٌ

Lord of the Universe (1-2)

رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Lord

رَبٌّ (ج) أَرْبَابٌ

Owner of the Kingdom. You give the kingdom to whom You will (3:26)

مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ

Owner

مَالِكٌ (ج) مَالِكُون

Then,Allah is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. (23:116)

فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ

King

مَلِكٌ (ج) مُلُوكٌ

with an omnipotent King (54:55)

عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ

King

مَلِيكٌ

Lord of the Universe (1-2)

رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Universe

عَالَمٌ (ج) عَالَمُوْنَ

Lord of the Day of Judgement.  (1-4)

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

Day of Judgement

يَومُ الدِّيْنِ

When will the Day of Judgment be(7-187)

السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا

the (final) Hour ,Day of Judgement

السَّاعَةُ

the news of the Enveloper (88-1)

حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ

Enveloper

الغَاشِيَةُ

When the Occurrence occurs (56-1)

إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ

Occurrence

الوَاقِعَةُ

But when there comes the Deafening Blast (80-33)

فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الصَّاخَّةُ

Deafening Blast

الصَّاخَّةُ

Thamood and Aad denied the Catastrophe. (69-4)

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ

Catastrophe

القَارِعَةُ

But when the Great Catastrophe comes (79-34)

فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَىٰ

Great Catastrophe

الطَّامَّةُ

and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. (19-95)

وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا

Day of Resurrection

يَوْمُ القِيَامَةِ

We believe in Allah and the Last Day (2-8)

آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ

the Last Day

اليَومُ الآخِرُ

forewarn them of the approaching Day (40-18)

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ

the approaching Day

يَوْمُ الآزِفَةِ

I fear for you the punishment of a painful day. (11-26)

أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ

a painful day

يَوْمٌ أَلِيْمٌ

in Allah’s Book until the Day of Resurrection (30-56)

فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْبَعْثِ

the Day of Resurrection

يَومُ البَعْثِ

that is the Day of Loss and Gain (64-9)

ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ

Day of Loss and Gain

يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ

to warn of the Day of Meeting (40-15)

لِيُنذِرَ يَوْمَ التَّلَاقِ

the Day of Meeting

يَوْمُ التَّلاَقِ

indeed I fear for you the Day of Calling (40-32)

إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمَ التَّنَادِ

the Day of Calling

يَوْمُ التَّنَادِ

leave behind a Heavy Day (76-27)

وَرَاءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا

a Heavy Day

يَوْمٌ ثَقِيْلٌ

warn of the Day of Assembly (42-7)

وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ

the Day of Assembly

يَوْمُ الجَمْعِ

for us our share before the Day of Account (38-16)

لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ

the Day of Account

يَوْمُ الحِسَابِ

And warn them of the Day of Regret (19-39)

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ

the Day of Regret

يَوْمُ الحَسْرَةِ

That day is true for certain (78-39)

ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ

Certain, True Day

اليَوْمُ الحَقُّ

That is the Day of Emergence. (50-42)

ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوجِ

Day of Emergence

يَوْمُ الخُرُوجِ

This is the Day of immortality (50-34)

ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ

the day of immortality

يَوْمُ الخُلُودِ

We dread from our Lord a frowning grim Day (76-10)

إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا

a frowning grim Day

يَوْمٌ عَبُوسٌ قَمْطَرِيرٌ

I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the torment of a terrible Day.” (10-15)

إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

a terrible Day

يَوْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

the punishment of the Barren Day comes upon them. (22-55)

يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ

the Barren Day

يَوْمٌ عَقِيمٌ

Say, ‘On the day of judgement the faith of the unbelievers will not benefit them (32-29)

قُلْ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِيمَانُهُمْ

The day of judgement

يَوْمُ الفَتْحِ

I fear for you the punishment of a great Day. (11-3)

أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيرٍ

great Day

يَوْمٌ كبِيرٌ

I fear for you the punishment of an all-embracing day (11-84)

أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ مُّحِيطٍ

all-embracing day

يَوْمٌ مُحِيطٌ

will indeed be gathered together at a fixed time on an appointed Day. (56-50)

لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

appointed Day, a known Day

يَوْمٌ مَعْلُومٌ

And by the Promised Day. (85-2)

وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ

the Promised Day.

اليَوْمُ الْمَوْعُودُ

That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat (50-20)

ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ

Day of the threat

يَوْمُ الوَعِيدِ

This is the Day of Decision. (37-21)

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ

Day of Decision/ Judgement

يَوْمُ الفَصْلِ

It is You we worship (1-5)

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ

worship

عَبَدَ-يَعْبُدُ (عِبَادَةٌ)

Nor am I worshiping what you have worshipped, (109-4)

وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ

worshipper

عَابِدٌ (ج) عَابِدُونَ

to You alone we turn for help. (1-5)

وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

turn for help

اِسْتَعَانَ-يَسْتَعِينُ

the one who sought his help the previous day (28-18)

الَّذِي اسْتَنصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ

sought his help

اِسْتَنْصَرَ-يَسْتَنْصِرُ

And the one of his party appealed for his help against his enemy (28-15)

فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِن شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ

appealed for help

اسْتَغَاثَ-يَسْتَغِيثُ

Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe (12-18)

وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ

help against

مُسْتَعَانٌ

in which others have helped him (25-4)

وَأَعَانَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ

help

أَعَانَ-يُعِينُ

If Allah helps you, none can overcome you. (3-160)

إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ

help

نَصَرَ-يَنْصُرُ

support Him, and honor Him (48-9)

وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ

Support, honor

عَزَّرَ-يُعَزِّرُ

your Lord helps you by sending down three thousand angels (3-124)

أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلَاثَةِ آلَافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ

help

أَمَدَّ-يُمِدُّ

and who have not supported anyone against you (9-4)

وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا

Support, help

ظَاهَرَ-يُظَاهِرُ

Help one another in goodness and in piety (5-2)

وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ

Help one another

تَعَاوَنَ-يَتَعَاوَنُ

What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another?

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

help one another

تَنَاصَرَ-يَتَانَصَرُ

but if you support one another against him, (know that) Allah is his Guardian, (66-4)

وَإِن تَظَاهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَاهُ

support one another
