When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up. (67:7)

إِذَا أُلْقُوا فِيهَا سَمِعُوا لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِيَ تَفُورُ

Boiling up, overflow, bubble

فَارَ-يَفُورُ

and the oven overflowed (11:40)

وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ

Oven, cooker

تَنُّورٌ

when they got into a boat, and he made a hole in it (18:71)

إِذَا رَكِبَا فِي السَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا

Ride, board, climb, mount,

رَكِبَ-يَرْكَبُ

And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride (36:42)

وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ

Ride, climb, mount

رَكِبَ-يَرْكَبُ

you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels (59:6)

فَمَا أَوْجَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَيْلٍ وَلَا رِكَابٍ

To make something urge

أَوْجَفَ-يُوْجِفُ

and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], (11:42)

وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ابْنَهُ وَكَانَ فِي مَعْزِلٍ

Isolation,segregation,aloof, being apart from

مَعْزِلٌ

in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage (11:41)

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ مَجْرِٓاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا

Course, path

مَجْرِى

And what the wombs lose [prematurely] or exceed (13:8)

وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ

Decrease, fall short

غَاضَ-يَغِيضُ

and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

 (55:41)

فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ

Forelock, forehead

نَاصِيةٌ ج نَوَاصٍ

and it came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy. And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people." (11:44)

وَاسْتَوَتْ عَلَى الْجُودِيِّ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

Be distant, away

بُعْدًا

 so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze (67:11)

فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

Farness, remoteness

سُحْقٌ

Then, away with Madyan as Thamud was taken away (11:95)

أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّمَدْيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتْ ثَمُودُ

Depart, be distant, destruction

بَعِدَ-يَبْعَدُ

We only say that some of our gods have possessed you with evil. (11:54)

إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا اعْتَرَاكَ بَعْضُ آلِهَتِنَا بِسُوءٍ

Possess, seize, afflict

اِعْتَرَى-يَعْتَرِي

Indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt. (11:110)

إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ

Doubtful, suspicious

مُرِيبٌ

And the shriek seized those who had wronged (11:67)

وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ

Blast, shout, shriek

صَيْحَةٌ

Indeed, it will be but one shout (79:13)

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ

Shout,cry,blast

زَجْرَةٌ

hear from them a sound? (19:98)

تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا

Sound, whisper

رِكْزٌ

They will not hear its sound (21:102)

لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا

Slightest sound

حَسِيسٌ

so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps] (20:108)

فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا

Faint sound, whisper

هَمْسٌ

bringing [them] a roasted calf. (11:69)

جَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ

Roasted

حَنِيذٌ

but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it. (13:36)

وَمِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَن يُنكِرُ بَعْضَهُ

Reject, deny

نَكِرَ-يَنْكَرُ

He said, "Disguise for her her throne (27:41)

قَالَ نَكِّرُوا لَهَا عَرْشَهَا

To Disguise something

نَكَّرَ-يُنَكِّرُ

but he was to them unknown (12:58)

وَهُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ

Unknown, unrecognized

مُنْكِرٌ ج مُنْكِرُونَ

He neither begets nor is born (112:3)

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

Give birth, beget

وَلَدَ-يَلِدُ

But he turned away with his supporters (51:39)

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِ

Foundation,support,chief

رُكْنٌ

 He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah. Indeed, he is my master, who has made good my residence (12:23)

قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللَّـهِ إِنَّهُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ

Shelter,refuge

مَعَاذٌ

and let not any among you look back (11:81)

وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ

Look back, turn around

الْتَفَتَ-يَلْتَفِتُ

and rained upon them stones of layered hard clay (11:82)

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ مَّنضُودٍ

In layers, one above another

مَنْضُودٌ

And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers (50:10)

وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ

Arranged in layers

نَضِيدٌ

Allah has created seven heavens in layers (71:15)

خَلَقَ اللَّـهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا

In layers, one upon another

طِباقٌ

And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me (44:20)

وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ

To throw stones, insult,revile

رَجَمَ-يَرْجُمُ (رَجْمٌ ج رُجُومٌ)

"If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned (26:116)

لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ

The one who is stoned

مَرْجُومٌ ج مَرْجُومُونَ

and lead them into the Fire (11:98)

فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ النَّارَ

To lead

أَوْرَدَ-يُورِدُ

and indeed, there will reach them a punishment that cannot be repelled (11:76)

وَإِنَّهُمْ آتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍ

The one who is repelled, turned back

مَرْدُودٌ

wretched is the gift which is given (11:99)

بِئْسَ الرِّفْدُ الْمَرْفُودُ

Gift, reward

رِفْدٌ

And never has the gift of your Lord been restricted (17:20)

وَمَا كَانَ عَطَاءُ رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورًا

Gift, bounty

عَطَاءٌ

But indeed, I will send to them a gift (27:35)

وَإِنِّي مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ

Present, gift

هَدِيَّةٌ

wretched is the gift which is given (11:99)

بِئْسَ الرِّفْدُ الْمَرْفُودُ

Which is given

مَرْفُودٌ

and that is a Day [which will be] witnessed (11:103)

وَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّشْهُودٌ

That which is witnessed, seen

مَشْهُودٌ

so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day (19:37)

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

Scene, view

مَشْهَدٌ

and He has not made me a wretched tyrant (19:32)

وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا

Unblessed, miserable,wretched

شَقِيٌّ (شَقِيَ-يَشْقَى)

Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us (23:106)

رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا

Misfortune, wretchedness

شِقْوَةٌ

Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune (54:19)

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ

Misfortune, calamity

نَحْسٌ، نَحِسَةٌ ج نَحِسَاتٌ

And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous (11:105)

فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِيٌّ وَسَعِيدٌ

Happy,glad,blessed

سَعِيدٌ (أَسْعَدَ-يُسْعِدُ)

For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling (11:106)

لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَشَهِيقٌ

Sighing,exhaling, moaning

زَفِيرٌ

And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] (51:29)

فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ

Loud voice, cry,moan

صَرَّةٌ

they will hear its fury and roaring (25:12)

سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا

Rage,fury

تَغَيُّظٌ

For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling (11:106)

لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَشَهِيقٌ

Wailing,inhaling, groaning

شَهِيقٌ

a bestowal uninterrupted (11:108)

عَطَاءً غَيْرَ مَجْذُوذٍ

Fragmented, interrupted

مَجْذُوذٌ

for them is a reward uninterrupted (42:8)

لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

Interrupted, cut

مَمْنُونٌ

Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden (56:33)

لَّا مَقْطُوعَةٍ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍ

Cut off, severed

مَقْطُوعٌ

the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them (21:30)

اَلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا

Joined

رَتْقٌ
