Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it (10:4) |
إِنَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ |
To repeat, do again |
أَعَادَ-يُعِيدُ |
arranging the matter [of His creation] (10:3) |
يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ |
To govern, arrange,regulate |
دَبَّرَ-يُدَبِّرُ |
And those who arrange [each] matter (79:5) |
فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا |
One who arranges, governs, manages |
مُدَبِّرَةٌ ج مُدَبِّرَاتٌ |
and determined for it phases (10:5) |
وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ |
Phases, stages |
مَنْزِلٌ ج مَنَازِلُ |
that you may know the number of years (10:5) |
لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ |
Number(n) |
عَدَدٌ |
a thousand years of those which you count (32:5) |
أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ |
To count, enumerate, reckon, consider |
عَدَّ-يَعُدُّ (عَدٌّ) |
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it (104:2) |
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ |
To Count |
عَدَّدَ-يُعَدِّدُ |
then there is not for you any waiting period to count concerning them (33:49) |
فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا |
To Count |
اِعْتَدَّ-يَعْتِدُّ |
So, ask those who enumerate (23:113) |
فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ |
Who enumerate, who count |
عَادٌّ ج عَادُّونَ |
It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea (10:22) |
هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ |
Make someone travel |
سَيَّرَ-يُسَيِّرُ |
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa (17:1) |
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى |
Make someone travel by night |
أَسْرَى-يُسْرِي |
And it sailed with them through waves like mountains (11:42) |
وَهِيَ تَجْرِي بِهِمْ فِي مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ |
Wave(n) |
مَوْجٌ |
And We will leave them that day surging over each other (18:99) |
وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِي بَعْضٍ |
To surge , wave(v) |
مَاجَ-يَمُوجُ |
there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest (10:24) |
أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا |
Harvest, crop |
حَصِيدٌ |
So it(garden) became as though reaped (68:20) |
فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ |
Reaped, cut off |
صَرِيمٌ |
as if it had not flourished yesterday (10:24) |
كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ |
Yesterday |
أَمْسِ |
And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow (59:18) |
وَلْتَنْظُرْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍ |
Tomorrow |
غَدًا |
So when they ask your permission for something of their affairs (24:62) |
فَإِذَا اسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِبَعْضِ شَأْنِهِمْ |

شَأْنٌ |
and amend their condition (47:2) |
وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ |
Condition, state |
بَالٌ |
We will return it to its former condition (20:21) |
سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا الْأُولَىٰ |

And what is your case, O Samiri? (20:95) |
فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَا سَامِرِيُّ |
