كِلَا  means ‘both’ masculine and   كِلْتَاis the feminine version of it. Both of them are mudaf. So the mudaf ilaihi after it will be majrur and dual

 Example:

Both students are in the library.

كِلَا اْلْطَّالِبَيْنِ فِيْ الْمَكْتَبَةِ

Both cars are in front of the house.

كِلْتَا الْسَّيَّارَتَيْنِ أَمَامَ الْبيْتِ

كِلَا   and  كِلْتَا  both are considered as singular, so their kahbar will be singular [also can be dual]

Both students went

كِلَا اْلْطَّالِبَيْنِ ذَهَبَ

Both watches are beautiful

كِلْتَا السَّاعَتَيْنِ جَمِيْلَةٌ

كِلَا  and كِلْتَا   both do not change in mansub and majrur state when their mudaf ilaihi is some اِسْمٌ . If the mudaf ilaihi is  ضَمِيْرٌ  then its case will be like dual.

Case will change when  mudaf ilaihi is   ضَميْرٌ

Case will not change when    mudaf ilaihi is   اِسْمٌ

كِلَانَا مَسْرُوْرٌ

كِلَا اْلْطَّالِبَيْنِ مَسْرُوْرٌ

Marfu

رَأَيْتُ كِلَيْهِمَا

أَعْرِفُ كِلَا اْلْطَّالِبَيْنِ

Mansub

بَحَثْتُ عَنْ كِلَيْهِمَا

بَحَثْتُ عَنْ كِلَا اْلْطَّالِبَيْنِ

Majrur

Quranic example

If any of them or both reach the state of old age in your lifetime then do not say ‘uff’ to them.

إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَا أُفٍّ

Both of the gardens produce fruits and did not fall short of it.

كِلْتَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ آتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِم مِّنْهُ شَيْئًا
