أَمَّا is used to talk about two or more than two topics. The خَبَرٌ after أَمَّا will have a فَ with it.
My sister lives with me and regarding my brother, he lives with my father. |
أُخْتِيْ تَسْكُنُ مَعِيْ أَمَّا أَخِيْ فَيَسْكُنُ مَعَ أَبِيْ |
Indeed those who have believed know that the example set by his master is entirely true and right. |
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ |
And those who have disbelieved they say that what is the purpose of setting such an example by Allah. |
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًا |
Regarding the wall, it was of two orphan boys of the town. |
وَأَمَّا الْجِدَارُ فَكَانَ لِغُلَامَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ |
