كَ means “like”. It is a حَرْفُ جَرٍّ. So ism after it is majrur.

Muslims are like a person only.

الْمُسْلِمُونَ كَرَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ

My watch is like your watch.

سَاعَتِيْ كَسَاعَتِكَ

And like this I have made you balanced nation.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا

That day man will be like scattered insect. 

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَ‌اشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ

Certainly blaming me is not like blaming other person.

إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَىَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ

 

كَ is used with pronoun. Example: أَنَا كَهُ will not be. In this case, مِثْلُ is joined with كَ. Example:أَنَا كَمِثْلِهِ   I am like him. Similarly, لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ There is nobody like him.
